Live Music with Rebecca McDade

We are excited to welcome Rebecca McDade to Chehalem Tasting Room & Wine Bar for an evening of live music and wine.

A Scotland born & Oregon grown singer-songwriter currently based in Salem, Oregon. Drawing inspiration from the folk music of the American sixties, Rachel explores heart and home through gentle melodies and intricate finger picking. We will be offering a selection of wines-by-the-glass and cheese & charcuterie boards at the Wine Bar.

A little bit about the artist:
After moving with her family to Portland, Oregon in 2006, McDade became an avid participant in the music and theatre spheres of the city. As a teenager, and through to her first years at Oregon State University, she continually participated in choirs, musicals, benefit concerts, and contributed to both studio recordings and musical enrichment programs. She spent her third year of college at The University of Glasgow, back in Scotland, where her love for American folk music first began to blossom. After two years of writing and recording a collection of demos both in Scotland and Oregon, her debut album was recorded at The Trench Studios in Portland. To Call Home was released in April 2018.
