Guest House Rental Agreement

Welcome! We hope you enjoy your stay with us. If you have any thoughts on how we can make your stay more enjoyable, please be sure to let us know. All of our Chehalem guest homes have been converted from farm houses. Please read this guest house rental agreement thoroughly. Because we are on a working vineyard, your safety is of utmost importance.

Check-In/Out

The guest homes are self check-in via lockbox; you will be provided a code to the lockbox via email prior to your stay. Check-in time is 4 pm or after. If you would like to request an early check in, please contact the concierge team at guesthouses@stollerwinegroup.com; do note we cannot always accommodate early check ins due to reservation and cleaning schedules. Check out time is no later than 11 am. Requests for late check-out will be considered based on availability.

Restrictions

  • Per our LEED certification, smoking is not allowed on the property
  • Pets are not allowed in the guest homes
  • Guests must be 25 years of age or older to enter into this rental agreement
  • House parties of any kind are prohibited
  • Walks in the vineyard are restricted to main roads only
  • Use and access to farm facilities and equipment is not permitted
  • Please keep away from all ponds on the property
  • Please do not trespass on neighboring properties

Deposits, Payments, and Cancellation Policy

Full payment is due at the time of booking. In light of COVID-19 circumstances, a full refund will be issued if the stay is canceled 14 days or more in advance of the stay. For any reservation cancelled within 14 days of arrival or in the case of a no-show, the full amount of the reservation will be due.

Property Use

Chehalem Winery gladly rents to families or responsible adults over the age of 25 years old. Occupancy, use of the premises, and communal areas shall not disturb or offend other guests or residents. Chehalem Winery has the right to terminate this contract and evict disruptive guests without a refund. If county noise ordinance policy is violated, guests will be responsible for a $250 fine.

Property Loss and Injury

Neither the owner nor the agent is responsible for lost or stolen items, accidents or injury to licensees, their guests, or damaged personal property.

Damage and Breakages

Guests are responsible and liable for any damages to the accommodation and its contents. Please notify us of any instances as soon as they occur.

Access

Guests agree that representatives from Chehalem Winery may enter the premises for repairs, maintenance, or any other purpose with advance notice.

Liability Waiver Clause

I voluntarily accept all risk of personal injury, death and property damage (including personal property) to myself, my family or guests, or anyone on the premises with our permission, in which injury or damage results from our use of the premises. Furthermore, I agree that we will not make a claim against or sue Chehalem Winery, Stoller Wine Group, or its owners, employees, family, or related entities, for any bodily injury, death, or property damage. I understand this is a release of owner and agents from any and all liability with respect to any claims brought by invitees for any damage or injury.

Non-Smoking Policy

The terms “smoke” and “smoking,” when used herein, includes, without limitation, inhaling, exhaling, breathing, holding, possessing, and/or carrying any vaporizer or lighted cigar, cigarette, or other tobacco product or similar lighted product in any manner or in any form. Smoking on premises is strictly prohibited. Chehalem Winery will charge a $250 noncompliance fee for any subsequent failure to comply with rules prohibiting smoking in a clearly designated non-smoking unit or area of the premises.
