About the Club

Chehalem's Inner Circle: First to Taste, First to Buy, First to Enjoy!

Over the past 20 years, we have developed a somewhat scientific reputation, combining reams of winemaking data, an ardent desire to experiment, and an ever-present respect for Mother Nature. As a result, our wine selection is one of the most diverse in the Willamette Valley.

• Our white wines range from racy, fresh, and mineral-laden to subtly oaked and sublime, representing the cool-climate varietals of Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, Riesling, and—our most recent favorite—Grüner Veltliner.
• Our Pinot Noirs are sourced from our estate vineyards located in three different AVAs and express three distinct Willamette Valley terroirs. Corral Creek Vineyards in the Chehalem Mountains yields Pinots with strawberry and red currants combined with spice, delicacy, and depth. Stoller Vineyards in the Dundee Hills is our source for soft, velvety Pinot Noirs filled with dark cherry and earth.
• Finally, Ribbon Ridge is home to two of our most sought-after single-vineyard wines. The first, Ridgecrest, was the original vineyard planted in this AVA back in 1982 and consistently produces rich, black-fruited Pinots with a great capacity for aging. Wind Ridge Block, our youngest site located just across the road, promises to be just as engaging, with complex dark fruits, tobacco, and spice.

As a member of any of our Tasting Panel Wine Clubs, you will be first to taste and learn about our wines. You’ll also get them at a discounted price and will have access to limited library wines, private events, and our in-depth winemaker’s notes.

Membership Levels

1. Pinot Noir. Receive 2 bottles of each of our Pinot Noirs, including: Reserve, 3 Vineyard, Wind Ridge Block, Stoller, Corral Creek, Ridgecrest, and our exclusive Tasting Panel Cuvée.
   
   Three shipments of 4 to 6 bottles each.
   Approximately $125–$225 per shipment (shipping and tax not included).
2. Chehalem Cellar. Receive 1 bottle of every wine we make. Shipments include half white and half red selections.
   
   Three shipments of 4 to 6 bottles each.
   Approximately $115–$150 per shipment (shipping and tax not included).
3. White Experience. Receive 2 bottles of each of our highly acclaimed white wines, including: INOX Chardonnay, Ian’s Reserve Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, 3 Vineyard Pinot Gris, Reserve Pinot Gris, Grüner Veltliner, Reserve Dry Riesling, Corral Creek Riesling, and SEXT sparkling Riesling.
   
   Three shipments of 4 to 6 bottles each.
   Approximately $80–$100 per shipment (shipping and tax not included).

Best Barrel Option. (Available as a special addition to membership levels 1 through 3.)
Every May, we select a single barrel of Pinot Noir we consider the top representative from each of our Estate Vineyards, as well as a single barrel of Chardonnay from our Stoller site.
 
Each barrel yields a maximum of 48 six-bottle cases, and each six-pack sells for $300 for Pinot Noir and $228 for Chardonnay (no further discounts apply; shipping and tax not included).

As a BEST BARREL member, you may choose up to 2 cases (4 six-packs) of any of our Best Barrel selections. Members are charged in late May for their selections, and the wines are ready for pick up or shipping in October. BEST BARREL wines are not released commercially.
