2016 Reserve Pinot Noir

92 points, Year’s Best- Wine & Spirits

This wine is dense, as it should be for a Reserve. The dark blue and black fruit is found in the glass along with brown sugar before evolving into black tea and tobacco. The tannins are initially big and fill the entire mouth. But the long-lasting finish shines. The big mouthfeel develops into a long, silky, vibrant ending that intrigues you to go back for a second, third, fourth visit.

2016 Ridgecrest Vineyard Pinot Noir

92 points, Year’s Best- Wine & Spirits

Aromatically, this wine integrates bright fruit with darker earth aspects. This Ridgecrest Pinot Noir jumps out of the glass with ripe red fruit and blackberry bushes balanced with sarsaparilla and forest floor mushrooms, all elevated by a hint of new oak toast. On the palate the tannins are intense. Up front, they are drying but as the mouthfeel evolves, they become soft like fine chalk. The bright acid exposes a lingering essence of dried cherries and spices.

2016 Stoller Vineyard Pinot Noir

91 points, Year’s Best- Wine & Spirits

Balanced between earth and fruit, aromatically this wine showcases dense black cherries that quickly jump forward and evolve into a brown spiced forest floor.  The palate accentuates the deepness of this wine.  It begins with bold velvet tannins that fade away exposing a silky thread that progresses into bright acid that seems to linger for ages.  This wine will make you contemplate the balance of lightness and darkness.

2016 Corral Creek Vineyard Pinot Noir

90 points, Year’s Best- Wine & Spirits

Thanks to the early, warm season we captured the beautiful, well known bright, strawberry, red fruit aromas that Corral Creek is known for while giving it a little extra body. The depth that came in with the fruit was balanced with more new oak. this is felt on the palate with the long, silky tannin finish that evolves into a mid-palate that is firm and juicy.
